Usually our subjects are female, almost 95% of our clients are women. However today we had a male client who wanted to shoot a portrait to hang on his new gym wall.
Shooting a male subject needs a different approach to lighting and pose. Usually a more harsh light is used compared to shooting a female. The trick is to use low key lighting to accentuate mood and form, rather than high key to emphasize on beauty. Anyway there is no hard and fast rule, you just have to experiment to see what suits you best! Enjoy the pics:
